The 15^th International Trade Fair of oil and gas industry "Oil & Gas 2011" took place on November 1-3, 2011 in Kiev.

Organizers of the event are National Joint Stock Company "Naftogaz of Ukraine" and Exhibition Company "ACCO International". General partner of the Trade Fair - Nadra Group.

Over a period of its existence, International Forum of oil and gas industry "Oil & Gas" holds the position of the main branch event of the country and is thought to be one the most prestigious events of oil and gas industry in Eastern Europe.

The main aim of the Forum is to attract maximum attention to the vast opportunities of Ukraine as a key transit country in Europe, to show the prospects of oil and gas industry reforms, to interest foreign partners.

Forum "Oil and Gas" is of great importance for the economy of Ukraine. It was attended by: the representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, diplomatic circles, heads of governmental institutions and leading enterprises of the oil and gas industry.

"Oil and Gas" Trade Fair is the main constituent part of the Forum. Every year, leading companies of the oil and gas industry offer up-to-date tools and technologies for oil and gas exploration, production and transportation, equipment for energy resources metering and control, automatic process control systems, local area networks, integrated operational systems for plant management, software, innovative projects for oil and gas facilities construction, wide variety of fittings, protective equipment, services for oil and gas complex, etc.

This year, more than 100 exhibitors from 12 countries participated in the exhibition, namely Austria, Hungary, Germany, Canada, China, Korea, Poland, Romania, Russia, USA, Ukraine and Czech Republic. Among the exponents were world leaders of the branch, as well as the leading domestic companies.

Such transnational companies as Aplisens, Rosen Europe bv, RWE Dea АG, Shlumberger Oilfield Eastern, Heat Group, Hafi Engineering, Krohne and others took part in the forum. Among regular participants one can also find such domestic leaders as Nadra Group, Ukrgasproduction, Ukrnafta, Ukrtatnafta, Ukrrosmetall, Ukrtransgas, Ukrtransnafta, Chornomornaftogaz, Poltava Petroleum Company, Arsenal Plant, Volchansk Aggregate Plant,  Gas Of Ukraine, Drogobych Engineering Plant, Ecm Ukraine, ITO, Prompribor, Samgas, Saturn^® Data International and others.

"Oil and Gas" Forum - a unique opportunity to effectively discuss burning issues of oil and gas industry. The Forum program was full of conferences and presentations.

"Nadra Group" timed its briefing and conference "New Technologies of Nadra Group, designed to improve the efficiency of oil and gas exploration and development in Ukraine", which was attended by top management and key specialists, to its 20th anniversary.
Moreover, the scientific and practical conference "State and prospects of drilling development in Ukraine", organized by the Union drillers of Ukraine was held within the framework of the Forum. The Forum of Drilling Technicians was attended by experts of leading domestic enterprises and research institutions. The forum included presentations of up-to-date technologies of erection, repair and maintenance of oil and gas wells, modern drilling equipment and materials, as well as new programs destined to improve drilling technician training and professional development system.

The Russian company "Gazprom Automation" presented at the "Oil and Gas 2011" exhibition advanced technological solutions in the field of automation, metrology, energy supply, gas transmission and storage. The seminar conducted by representatives of this company for Ukrainian specialists was dedicated to these very issues.

The forum program included the annual branch conference "Ukrainian Oil and Gas Complex 2011", held on November, 2 ,at the Conference Hall of President Hotel. Reports were delivered by the leaders of the National Joint Stock Company "Naftogaz of Ukraine", Secretary General of the International Gas Union, representatives of diplomatic missions, international financial, analytical and consulting firms, leading experts and branch experts. The conference discussed Issues of International cooperation issues in the field of modernization of Ukrainian gas transport system, development of European and Russian markets of natural gas, oil and petroleum products. Topics dedicated to pricing policy, harmonization of standards and rules of natural gas measurement were discussed. Also, technologies of promising objects search, hydrocarbon production and resource potential increase were presented.

Visitors and exhibitors shared their impressions of the Forum, many of whom have found business partners and concluded contracts. Work at the exhibition was intensive and effective for everybody. "Oil and Gas 2011" Forum confirmed once again its being the main branch event of the oil and gas complex of Ukraine and an effective platform for international cooperation and business.
